Spinning & Yarn

Ring Spinning
Ring spinning is the backbone of quality yarn manufacturing — and it is the foundation of everything we do at Spinkottex. Our ring frames simultaneously draft, twist, and wind fibre into yarn in a single continuous operation. The result is a yarn with a high proportion of fibres aligned in parallel, delivering superior strength, uniformity, and versatility across end-uses. Our ring frames run across a wide count range — from Ne 20s to Ne 80s — and are capable of handling 100% cotton, cotton blends, and specialty fibres with equal precision.

Compact Spinning
Compact spinning is the premium tier of ring spinning technology. A controlled airflow and mechanical condensation zone collects the fibre bundle immediately before twist insertion — eliminating the spinning triangle, the inherent weak point in conventional ring spinning. The result is a yarn with dramatically reduced hairiness, enhanced tensile strength, superior abrasion resistance, and exceptional evenness. Compact yarn is the preferred choice for premium shirting fabrics, high-thread-count bed linen, and any application where surface quality is non-negotiable. It also uses 8–12% less raw material to achieve equivalent strength — a meaningful sustainability advantage

Combed & Carded Yarn
Combed yarn undergoes an additional processing step after carding — a combing machine removes short staple fibres, neps, and impurities, leaving only the longest, most aligned fibres to be spun. The resulting yarn is finer, stronger, more lustrous, and significantly less prone to pilling — the standard for premium apparel and fine fabrics. Carded yarn, while it does not undergo the combing step, offers excellent versatility. The carding process disentangles and aligns fibres sufficiently to produce a consistent, workable sliver — resulting in a yarn well-suited to a wide range of weaving and knitting applications where a balance of quality and economy is required.

Dyed Yarn
Our ring frames are fully equipped to produce dyed yarns — maintaining the structural integrity, dimensional stability, and count consistency of the base yarn while delivering vibrant, uniform colour. All dyed yarn from Spinkottex is produced to strict colour fastness specifications, making it suitable for yarn-dyed weaving, knitting, and any export-specification fabric programme. We work closely with clients to match shade requirements, and our production processes are designed to deliver consistent colour reproduction from batch to batch — because inconsistency in dyed yarn costs you at the fabric inspection stage.

Yarn Count Range & Applications
Fine Count: Ne 40s–80s
Spinkottex ring frames are specifically equipped and tuned for fine count production — delivering the tight tolerances and low imperfection levels that premium fabric manufacturers require.
Medium Count: Ne 20s–40s
The same rigorous quality standards applied to our fine counts apply here — because medium count customers deserve the same consistency as anyone else.
